India - Hampi Power Journey part 4

This batch of photos is larger, and covers a few days of exploring temples and a cave around Hampi and meditating again at the river on our last morning.

Again, I apologize for not taking notes, although I do know that the images toward the top involving the monkeys, views from height, climbing stairs (there were almost 600 of them,) as well as an some interior shots of statues, are from the Hanuman temple. It is claimed that Hanuman was born at the spot where the temple is situated.
As I do often, there is a mix of more documentary images with stuff I just like visually, and happen to be where I am at the moment, with no regard for context of story telling.

NoSh*t

Tonight was to be reading and going to sleep early…. and here I sit, after midnight, having created some weird imagery…. and now wondering what's this about?
It has been an odd week overall.

Btw,  these images are graffiti in NYC and Brooklyn. The "NO" was part of a poster in the subway that had "shit" scribbled in the center of the O. (it's not very visible at this size magnification)  I made the word into a triple image, and added that to the second image.

India - Hampi Power Journey part 3

I wish I'd have taken notes on the names of places we went.  If and when I connect to someone I traveled with, I'll edit the post with more details of names and places.

The views  here were incredible, as you will see, with the sky turning improbable shades of red as the sun set.

Sounds of male voices coming from the temple below chanting an ancient text filled the air. After the sun went down, we went inside and sat with the singers for awhile.
