While in Hampi, India I was drawn to the wonderful colors and designs of doorways. Doors and doorways are not an unusual subject for people to photograph, but none the less, early years of painting and love of design pulled my attention to these particular scenes. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

India - Hampi Power Journey part 4

Again, I apologize for not taking notes, although I do know that the images toward the top involving the monkeys, views from height, climbing stairs (there were almost 600 of them,) as well as an some interior shots of statues, are from the Hanuman temple. It is claimed that Hanuman was born at the spot where the temple is situated. As I do often, there is a mix of more documentary images with stuff I just like visually, and happen to be where I am at the moment, with no regard for context of story telling.
